Where it all began. Shorty started his first contract cleaning business in Perth in 1971 with clients such as The West Australian Executor & Agency Co, several ANZ Banks as well as the Rural & Industries Bank of Western Australia. In 1976 Shorty relocated to F.N.Q. where he managed approximately 60 cleaners in the small township of Weipa for six & a half years. Our involvement in Cairns did not begin until 1983 when our family arrived here, starting out once more in contract cleaning, with major clients such as Ansett Airlines, QANTAS, Cairns RSL as well as many Doctors surgeries, and smaller offices throughout Cairns. We have spent many hours at Cairns International Airport maintaining carpet & upholstery since March of 1984. Training & Experience Counts Meanwhile, we were undergoing further training with various organizations involved in carpet & upholstery cleaning and carpet repair, water damage restoration and Oriental rug care. We firmly believe that we must keep up with current technology in our industry, and as such, we travel interstate & overseas regularly for further training, as well as attending major trade seminars and conventions. Apart from our many certifications gained, we also hold Queensland Blue Cards which allow us to safely work amongst children in Day Care Centres, schools etc; and also hold current A.S.I.C. security cards when working at Cairns International Airport.
